Fare evasion and other administrative violations on public transport means are ascertained and notified by Atac personnel.
Transgressors are subject to the payment of a fine, in addition to the payment of the ticket price and procedural and postal costs, if applicable.
In case you didn't collect a copy of the violation report, further proceeding and mailing costs will be added.
The payment of the penalty fare must take place within and not beyond 60 days after notification.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to pay ticket inspectors IN CASH.
Within 30 days from the date of delivery or notification of the fine, you have the right to appeal by writing a statement that explains why you couldn’t produce a valid ticket for your journey. In case of acceptance, no communication will be sent to the customer.
