The Special Pass for Exploring Rome This Christmas

With the Christmas Mobility Pass you can enjoy unlimited travel on buses, trams and the metro, and park for free in the main park-and-ride car parks.

The Pass is a digital ticket with a QR code, valid on 17 selected days: all Saturdays and public holidays, plus two pre-holiday days (31 Dec, 5 Jan), between 6 December 2025 and 6 January 2026.

It can be bought only on MyAtac from 5 to 31 December 2025.

The Pass costs €10 and includes:

• unlimited travel on Atac buses, trams and metro lines on specific days during its validity period;
• free parking in the main Atac park & ride facilities (excluding Trastevere and Partigiani).

.Cotral and Trenitalia services are not included.

HOW TO OBTAIN THE PASS

The Christmas Mobility Pass can be bought by anyone, with no residence requirements, until the available funds run out.

The Pass can be bought only on MyAtac 5 December 2025 until 11:59 p.m. on 31 December 2025.

After completing the form and making the payment on MyAtac, your Pass will be immediately available in your personal area, with an active QR code for travelling on Atac services on the days when the offer is valid.

Please note: the Pass is personal and non-transferable.  Each user can purchase up to 5 Passes per account.

Get your Pass

• Log in to the MyAtac platform
• Sign in or register, if you are a new customer
• Select “Christmas Mobility Pass 2025/2026”
• Enter the name of the Pass holder
• Complete the €10 payment
• Find your digital Pass with QR Code immediately in your MyAtac personal area

HOW TO USE YOUR PASS

• To use the QR Code, log in to your MyAtac personal area, display or print the pass, and validate your ticket directly at the validators in the metro and on surface transport.
• For multiple purchases, validation can be carried out digitally by selecting and validating one pass at a time. If network coverage is poor and you are using a single digital pass, you can display the pass on your smartphone in advance; once you reach the turnstiles it will also work offline. Alternatively, you can always use the printed pass.
• The QR Codes available in MyAtac are automatically regenerated on each pre-holiday day included in the promotion. You must therefore update the digital version or print a new copy of the pass accordingly.

Public transport (metro, buses and trams)

• Metro: hold the QR Code near the new “All in One” gates available in all stations.
• Buses and trams: hold the QR Code near the lower part of the Tap&Go validators, where you find the “QR Code” symbol”.

Park & ride facilities

The Christmas Mobility Pass allows you to park for free in Atac-operated park-and-ride car parks (except Trastevere and Partigiani), under the following conditions:

Park & ride facilities with automated access systems

• at the entrance, press the button on the column, take the ticket and enter: the barrier will lift;
• before returning to your car, go to the staffed pay desk, hand over the ticket you collected at the entrance and show the staff your Christmas Mobility Pass on your smartphone screen, as displayed in your MyAtac personal area;
• you will receive a ticket enabling free exit;
• at the exit, insert the ticket in the column: the barrier will lift and you may leave.

Park & ride facilities with parking meters and checks by parking attendants

• during your stay, you must display the Christmas Mobility Parking notice clearly on your car dashboard. You can download and print it from MyAtac;
• this allows parking attendants to verify your eligibility for free parking. 

IN CASE OF TICKET INSPECTION

If checked by Atac staff, you must be able to show:

• the Pass with an active QR Code on your device, visible within your MyAtac personal area or printed and validated as indicated;
• a valid ID document, if requested.
