AUTOMATED PARK & RIDE FACILITY

Access with automatic licence plate recognition

Licence plate recognition cameras installed at the entry and exit gates allow holders of a Metrebus card, B+ subscription and Tap&Go subscription to enter automatically, simplifying access procedures.

Users holding a personal Metrebus card (monthly or annual, valid), a dematerialised subscription (App Atac Roma, B+ partner app) or a Tap&Go subscription (linked to a payment card) can associate their vehicle licence plate with their pass via the MyATAC portal, by accessing the dedicated Metrebus Parking service section.

Once the licence plate has been registered, the system will automatically recognise the vehicle when passing through the gates, allowing the barrier to open without the need for a parking ticket

VEHICLE REGISTRATION

Users holding a personal Metrebus card (monthly or annual, valid), a B+ subscription (monthly or annual), a dematerialised subscription via the Atac Roma App, or a monthly Tap&Go subscription can register their vehicle licence plate via the MyATAC portal.

Only one licence plate can be registered per subscription.
License plate changes can be made directly on the MyATAC portal.
The new license plate will be active starting from 00:00 a.m. the day after the modification.

The updated privacy policy is available on site at the cash desks and on the ATAC website, in the Parking section.

ENTRY AND EXIT PROCEDURES

Users with monthly or annual Metrebus card (red card)

Entry

Vehicles with a licence plate registered on MyATAC enter automatically: the camera recognises the plate and opens the barrier.

Exit

The system recognises the associated licence plate and automatically opens the exit barrier.

Users with other public transport subscriptions in Rome

Users with subscriptions other than Metrebus (e.g. èRoma, Metrebus Lazio, non-personal tickets, etc.) must go to the parking office with their card and payment receipt, complete the form, and register their vehicle licence plate. Once the plate has been registered, the system will automatically recognise the vehicle at entry and exit.
